The second step of the two handed backhand progresions
is to start with your body sideways and your tennis rocket pointed back at the back fence,
the rocket back position
and thats this position should look like,
got my rocket back, pointed at the back fence, body sideways
and from here I am going to swing forward, get back to my contact point
and then follow through using the mechanics we have worked on in the previous video.
If we go back to the rocket back position
You notice that when I swing forward, Ir rotate my body back towards the net
and I get the heel of my back foot up, so I am transferee my weight forward on my front foot
and that’s gonna help to get my weight in to the shoot when I swing and when I hit.
Now its time to hit some tennis balls from the rocket back position.
I have got my body completely sideways and the tennis rocket pointed at the back fence.
and when I hit, I am gonna rotate my body back towards the net.
I am going to swing, make contact and then follow through using the same mechanics from the previous video.
I am just gonna follow through and stop with the tennis rocket out in front of me.
And from the back perspective, the other thing you gonna notice,
when I rotate my body back towards the net
is that my back heel comes up and my weight transferees on my front foot
and again thats part of corect two handed backhand technique,
