Titulek 1 The seconds step in the WW forehand progressions is to take the mechanics we've worked on in the previous videos and then move back into no-man's land and choke down on the tennis racket handle little bit In the previous video you basically learned how to hit a WW forehand we're not gonna add any more mechanics we are just transitioning from the service line when you're hitting real soft back to the baseline when you use the full motion So, the first thing you're gonna do is go from the top of the handle and then choke down to the middle of the handle you're gonna be swinging a little bit harder in this video what I would suggest is when you move back into no-man's land and try to hit some WW forehands you stop at the top of the follow through again and make sure you can hit consistently like that and then you can add the entire follow through because you're trying to build yourself up to the full motion when you start swinging a little harder that's sometimes when your shot can break down So again, stop here first and then once you can hit consistently, like that then you can add the entire follow through.
So, here I am and I'm hitting and I'm stopping at the top of the follow through like I've just suggested and I'm just working, trying to brush up on the back of the tennis ball making sure that I can do this all the time making sure that it's automatic.
And then once I master it we can switch to the full motion again, I'm still holding the racket in the middle of the handle but I'm following through forming that box at the completion of the follow through and again, not trying to work hard, just making sure I'm brushing up on the tennis ball and generating a lot of top spin.
