Welcome to the one handed backhand progresions section of the website.
In this section we gonna assume that you don’t know how to hit one handed backhand,
you never picked up a rocket before.
We gonna go from absolutely nothing, built you up through series of steps and progressions
to a foundemetaly sound one hander,
that you can then take and start expending it on, really making that shot dynamic and turn that shot in to a weapon.
Now the way we have approach the one hander in this section
is different from how we examinated the one hander in the one handed backhand
the fundamentals section of the website.
In that section we went chronologically through the shot.
So we started with the pivot and the shoulder turn then we moved to the grip change etc.and then with the follow through.
But that’s not necessary the best way to learn how to hit the shot,
knowing what the good players do, when they hit a one hander,
doesn’t necessarily teach you how to hit one hander.
So in this section we will approach things a little bit differently.
For example, we start with the contact point and the follow through,
because understanding what contact should feel like
is critical in hitting effective one handed backhand.
So the lessons are little bit different, the organization is a little bit different in this section.
Now if you can master the steps, of the progressions we have laid out.
You gonna have fundamentally sound one handed backhand
and you gonna be able to take that shot
and then turn it, in to a dynamic and forceful weapon.
